Milling
Carbon steel: lightly oiled, requires cleaning with an acid or solvent bath and rinsing with water prior to final surface preparation
Aluminum: cleaned with non-etching chemicals or cleaners, then rinsed thoroughly and dried (wax or non-wax based cleaners may be used)
Hot Dip Galvanized: protective coating of zinc; may have a rough uneven appearance. Not applicable to patterns smaller than 1/4"
Electro-galvanized: galvanizes sheet to provide weather resistance
Deburring: wire brush 9"-72" SWD, 50"-150" LWD to remove burrs and sharp edges. Not all styles are deburred
Flattening: Flatten the flat surface of the sheet without flattening the strands or bonding agent.
